Portugal Wedding Photographer. Algarve. Alentejo. Lisbon
This is near to my heart. Near to home. In so many ways.
I live in Sweden, but Portugal is my home country. My dream and biggest wish is to take on more assignments there, to be able to keep my family and myself, more connected to this beautiful country and friendly habits. I love everything about my country. The people, the habits, the gastronomy, the fragrances, the way of life…Portugal is so special. The province of Alentejo even more so. It is such a pity that it is stil undiscovered by so many. Of course, that might be the reason why it stil is so special. So authentic and friendly. So if you are engaged and thinking of getting married in Portugal, please contact me, and we will make it work, I promise.
I’ve known Filipa & Hugo since they were kids. I know their parents. They are also dear friends to my brother. It doesn’t get more personal than this. I loved their natural comfortable take on photography. No gimmicks!
Also, these pictures are taken around the village my ancestors are from. Many persons I love still love there. It’s just impossible to not put a bit of my heart in this post.
The other special thing, is that This whole session was shot on film, with my Hasselblad. Boy! Am I glad I took that decision! The light and colors are incomparable . This was pretty special to be a December afternoon. I am glad good old film photography made it justice.
These beautiful frames were all developed and scanned by, in my opinion, the best lab in Europe. UK Film Lab.
Thank you, Portugal! Thank you, Filipa & Hugo! Thank you, UK Film Lab!

Your work is the kind of photography that makes me wish I shot film more often. Stunning work. And what a great opportunity to shoot in a place that's dear to you. I would love for that to happen in Poland (my birthplace) some day!
